Your language preference is remembered in the Next-Locale session cookie. When you choose light or dark mode, we save that choice locally under theme until you clear it. These preferences are not used for advertising.

Ask Hegna — AI chat privacy

Ask Hegna is an AI assistant provided by ProofStack BV, Mimosalaan 18, 3191 Boortmeerbeek, Belgium (BE 1039523066). It answers product and plan questions without requiring an account. It can make mistakes; check important statements against our product pages, terms and proof limitations.

When you send a message, our website hosted by Combell sends the recent conversation directly to Mistral AI through its European API endpoint. A second AI request checks the draft against our product information. We do not attach your account details, email address or files. The assistant has no access to accounts, payments or evidence files. Please do not include passwords, sensitive information or personal details about other people.

The conversation is held in the open chat’s memory, not saved in our chat database or browser storage. Closing the chat clears that local conversation; it does not recall messages already sent to Mistral. Mistral may retain inputs and answers for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, and longer for flagged abuse under its policy. Zero Data Retention has been requested but is not active. Model training is disabled for our API account. Technical hosting and service records are separate from the conversation. This service is not described as anonymous or as processed exclusively in the EU.

We rely on our legitimate interest in answering questions visitors choose to ask and protecting the service. Using the chat is optional; you can contact our team instead. To object or exercise your privacy rights, email privacy@proofstack.eu. You can request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal data and, where applicable, portability. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

The chatbot cannot receive or register cancellations, withdrawals, complaints or privacy requests. Use the contact page or privacy email for those requests. The contact page opens your email app; no transcript is automatically copied or sent. You decide what to include before sending. The app and purchase launch restrictions remain in place.
